I am a very traditional tango DJ my style reflects my deep passion for traditional tango, and I strive to convey the spirit of the “Milongas Portenas” every time. As an active Musicalizador, I regularly play at some of Rome’s most important milongas, as well as at Tango events, Festivals, Marathons and Encuentros throughout Italy, Europe, and around the world. About my performances: “…a set must have structure and flow. At the same time, the music must be varied throughout the evening so that it never becomes boring or repetitive…” When selecting my tandas, I draw from the Golden Age of tango, the Guardia Vieja, and the 1950s.
Balázs prefers rhythmic and emotionally charged music from the Golden Age but as a DJ he plays an overall balanced repertoire with an eye on dynamic variation between tandas and consistency within them. Balázs also produces the online tango radio station http://argentinetangoradio.com (which currently has more than 500.000 listeners each month) and the podcast series "Danceable Tangos of the Year". Balázs is a popular international tango DJ in Europe, and a DJ and organizer at the Milonga de Mis Amores in Budapest.
DJ Ricardo Ferreira (Portugal / Australia) - confirmed
Ricardo is a Portuguese-Australian DJ, a perfectionist by nature, a musician, an architect, a photographer, a milonguero, and an enthusiastic researcher of the cultural history of Tango, from its origins through its evolution to the present day. Having begun his DJ career with Latin music during his college years, he has spent the past 8 years focusing on Argentine Tango. You can find him behind the DJ booth anywhere in the world. His musical style begins with 1930s tango, then gradually transitions into the 1950s, and his sets also feature the latest orchestras. The whole experience is incredibly dynamic, and the transitions are dictated by the dancers. Ricardo, who understands the Spanish lyrics of every tango and every tanda, strives to use the music to tell a story with a flow and emotion that touches every participant throughout the entire milonga, with genuine musical passion.
Antónia Nagykáldi is the resident DJ of Milonga sin Palabras Budapest, Hungary since 2010 and a regular DJ of tango festivals, marathons, encuentros and milongas all around Europe. In Budapest: Danubiando Tango Festival, Amor en Budapest Tango Marathon, Primavera Budapest Tango Martahon, Royal Budapest Tango Marathon, Noches de Hungria Tango Marathon, and almost all milongas in Budapest, and in Hungary.

"What I love most of all in tango: harmony with my partner, expressing the style and fine details of the music and playing. As a tango DJ from the beginning (2008) I always aim to interpret these values, because for me dancing and DJ’ing are connected closely. I choose pieces for my tandas mostly from Golden Age and some of Guardia Vieja and Post Golden Age period, too. I compile the music to keep the energy up, as well as the flow on the dance floor. I never forget about my most important way of choosing music: it must be danceable and besides this: interesting enough to keep people dancing."
Olga “La Cachila” is a passionate milonguera and Tango DJ. She organizes the La Cachila milonga held at La Casa del Tango in Alicante, Spain, where she also performs as a DJ. As a Tango DJ, she has played at numerous tango events, milongas, festivals, marathons, and encuentros in various cities across Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, France, and Georgia, as well as at many iconic milongas in Buenos Aires. Her style is rooted in traditional tango, with a particular preference for emotional and rhythmic orchestras. She always strives to create a warm atmosphere on the dance floor and ensure that dancers can enjoy the milonga to the fullest extent possible.
I’m in love with tango music, as a dj and as a dancer. I’ve been to Buenos Aires five times, the second time I spent more than 7 months there. During that time I attended many different styles of tango evenings, and paid good attention to what factors make for a great dance evening. Moving from tanda to tanda, I choose my music carefully according to time period, orchestra and atmosphere. I am organizer and DJ of the Budapest based castle milonga which is said to be among one of the most beautiful milonga venues of Europe.

I am a social tango dancer and tango DJ. I fell in love with tango seven years ago, and my enthusiasm has been growing ever since. As a tango addict, I go to milongas in Budapest almost every night, and I often play at local milongas as well. I like to play traditional tango music, preferring songs by Carlos di Sarli, Juan D'Arienzo, Anibal Troilo, and Osvaldo Pugliese. As a dedicated tango dancer, I know what kind of music attracts people to the dance floor. Based on feedback from dancers, I can say that I am pretty successful in this regard. This is because I carefully select the tandas to match the atmosphere of the milonga.
