I am a very traditional Tango Dj, my style reflects my great passion for traditional tango, trying to convey the spirit of “Milongas Portenas” every time. I am an active Musicalizador, playing music regularly in some of the main Milongas in Rome, as well as all around Italy and abroad in Europe and in the world during Tango events, Festivals and Marathons. About my performance: "...a set needs to have a structure and needs to fit together. At the same time, music needs to vary during the night, so it never gets boring and never repeats itself..." My tandas selections are made through the Golden Age of tango, Vieja Guardia, as well as from the '50s.

Antónia Nagykáldi is the resident DJ of Milonga sin Palabras Budapest, Hungary since 2010 and a regular DJ of tango festivals, marathons, encuentros and milongas all around Europe. In Budapest: Danubiando Tango Festival, Amor en Budapest Tango Marathon, Primavera Budapest Tango Martahon, Royal Budapest Tango Marathon, Noches de Hungria Tango Marathon, and almost all milongas in Budapest, and in Hungary. Other cities and events in Europe, lot of them more times: Spain: Sevilla (Workshop Milonga Sevilla Tango Festival), Marbella (Apilate que Largamos Tango Maraton), Conil: (Conil Tango Festival), Nerja, (Spain, Sol de Invierno International Tango Meeting), Various milongas in Madrid, Granada, Sevilla, Málaga, Marbella, Fuengirola, Italy: Roma (S.P.Q.R. Tango Marathon), Germany: Stuttgart/Monschau (Balloon Tango Marathon), München (Tango Biathlon), Various milongas in München, Halle, Linz, Berlin, Czechia: Prague (Prague Tango Marathon), Belgium: Namur (La Cita de los Amigos Tango Marathon), Poland: Warsawa (El Fuego Tango Marathon), Torun (Tangothic Tango Marathon), Latvia: Riga (Castillo de la Musica Tango Marathon), Sweden: Malmö (Festivalito), Various milongas in France: Paris, Portugal: Lisbon, Netherlands: Amsterdam, Upper Austria (Milonga del Campo), and many times in Vienna. "What I love most of all in tango: harmony with my partner, expressing the style and fine details of the music and playing. As a tango DJ from the beginning (2008) I always aim to interpret these values, because for me dancing and DJ’ing are connected closely. I choose pieces for my tandas mostly from Golden Age and some of Guardia Vieja and Post Golden Age period, too. I compile the music to keep the energy up, as well as the flow on the dance floor. I never forget about my most important way of choosing music: it must be danceable and besides this: interesting enough to keep people dancing."

My experience with tango started in 2003 as a dancer and I started Djing in 2007 at Impruneta, near by Florence, a milonga running twice a month where I have been co-organizer. I have a huge experience -more than 800 sets- among regular milongas, encuentros, marathons and festivals arround Europe. When I'm djing I like to relate with the people on the dancefloor, I always try to guess which can be the best choice of a tune, in order to create a nice wave during my set. I often think about the fact that some couples can have the best tanda ever during my set and that's why each tanda should be constructed having a sense, a path, a sort of uniqueness that can match with the uniqueness of dancing. The music selection is predominantly classical and never predictable, spans the entire period of the tango and sometimes I like to surprise the dancers by proposing some rare tracks. The aim is always satisfying the dancers: nice music for dancing, warm atmosphere to enjoy. I'm using lossless files imported from my collection of CDs and LPs and I work with a sound card and professional software in order to guarantee a high sound quality

I’m in love with tango music, as a dj and as a dancer. I’ve been to Buenos Aires five times, the second time I spent more than 7 months there. During that time I attended many different styles of tango evenings, and paid good attention to what factors make for a great dance evening. Moving from tanda to tanda, I choose my music carefully according to time period, orchestra and atmosphere. I am organizer and DJ of the Budapest based castle milonga which is said to be among one of the most beautiful milonga venues of Europe.

Murat fell in love with tango at a festival in 2011 and after seeing Chicho dance, he started taking lessons. He soon became a frequent social tango dancer. Later he became more and more interested in tango music and started to develop a passion for tango DJing. As a DJ, he has performed in many cities in Turkey and several other countries. Murat plays beautiful Golden Age tango music, he likes to balance passionate melodies with great tango rhythms.

The harmony to enjoy in a milonga by the embrace with my partner and by the music is valuable to me as a dancer as well as a tango DJ. I like when the dancers will able to experience various feelings by the music what I play, mostly joy, playfulness, sometimes deep feelings also. That type of musical waves can give us such an uplifting experience what may remain with us in the everyday life also after the milonga.

DJ Gábor Szőke (Hungary) - confirmed
I am a social tango dancer and tango DJ. I fell in love with tango seven years ago, and my enthusiasm has been growing ever since. As a tango addict, I go to milongas in Budapest almost every night, and I often play at local milongas as well. I like to play traditional tango music, preferring songs by Carlos di Sarli, Juan D'Arienzo, Anibal Troilo, and Osvaldo Pugliese. As a dedicated tango dancer, I know what kind of music attracts people to the dance floor. Based on feedback from dancers, I can say that I am pretty successful in this regard. This is because I carefully select the tandas to match the atmosphere of the milonga.
